Brainstorm
I began brainstorming the list of features that should be included in an app. In particular, I kept UI features of Calendar apps and Diary apps in mind.
Task Flows
Task flows were an easy way to identify the pathways a user would take for the main features of my maps. I created task flows for the features whose pathways were unclear.
User Flows
Next, I created user flows to visualise how a user will interact with the main features of the app. This solidified what UI features, such as buttons and screens, I needed to design.
Wireflows
The next step involved creating wireflows, using the knowledge from the user flows. Wireflows were an efficient way to visualise the manner in which a user will interact with the screen, as well as explore the potential layouts of the screen and what UI patterns and features are required.
I specifically created a wireflow for changing the upload limit. These screens embrace anti-design, badly designed UI. This helped me to explore how the incorporation of many unnecessary steps could potentially annoy the user.
